Experience the flight line from the back of an authentic military vehicle.  Join one of our guided rides up the flight line in a genuine WW2 military vehicle — getting you up close to the aircraft in a way no other ticket can. Places are limited and are bookable on the day.

The Spitfire Enclosure is our premium VIP experience, giving you private access to a dedicated enclosure with unrivalled views of the flight line and Spitfires parked right alongside you. Are you the proud owner of a pre-1950s vehicle? Bring it along and display it as part of our 1940s living history village.  Approved display vehicles receive complimentary driver admission. Subject to availability and approval.  Required at booking: vehicle make, model, registration, year of manufacture, driver name.  One accompanying passenger may be included or purchased separately. Note passengers must have valid paid ticket.

Admission is complimentary for all veterans of the Armed Forces. In honour of those who served, we welcome veterans of all branches and conflicts to join us free of charge. Please book your ticket in advance so we can recognise and welcome you properly on the day. Required at booking: service branch, number attending, veteran association (optional).

Free admission for children aged 4 and under. Please book a free Under 5 ticket so we can plan for your little ones on the day. No charge, no fuss — just let us know you’re coming.

As part of the Battle of Britain Air Show 2026, we’re creating an immersive 1940s living history area at RAF Woodchurch, and we’d love you to be part of it.

We’re bringing together vehicles, re-enactors and traders to transport our visitors straight back to the era, and we need plenty of people on board to make it really come alive. We’re looking for re-enactors in period military or civilian dress, military vehicles, pre-1950 civilian vehicles (cars and motorcycles), and 1940s-themed traders.

Period dress really helps bring the area to life, and we’d love as many of you as possible to take part in costume, but please don’t let that put you off booking. If you’d prefer to display a vehicle or join in without dressing up, you’re still very welcome. The most important thing is that you come and be part of it.

Free admission applies to everyone actively taking part in the 1940s area of the show, whether you’re a re-enactor, a vehicle owner, a trader or part of a display. If you’re helping bring the area to life, you come in free. Please note: free admission is per person, not per vehicle. Any companions or passengers coming along as general visitors, rather than taking part in the 1940s area, will need a standard admission ticket.

One thing we do ask: any tents brought into the 1940s area must be period-appropriate (military green/canvas) so the encampment stays authentic.
